Trainee Estimator

Trainee Estimator 

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Trainee Estimator to join a leading bathroom design company based on the outskirts of Basingstoke. This is a full-time permanent position.

Responsibilities as a Trainee Estimator:

• Offer early engagement with architects and contractors to assist with drawings and designs 
  
  
• Prepare tenders as part of a team 
  
  
• Measure and mark up drawings that form part of quotations for the client
  
  
• Put together labour and product prices for projects 
  
  
• Liaise with new / potential customers by phone and email 
  
  
• Follow up on potential leads 
  
  
• Assist with project management duties 
  
  

 

Requirements:

• Excellent attention to detail 
  
  
• Confidence in dealing with customers / suppliers 
  
  
• Strong understanding of bathroom construction 
  
  
• Excellent Microsoft Office 
  
  
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to urgent tasks  
  
  

The Role:

• Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 17.00pm
  
  
• Starting Salary of £26,000, negotiable depending on experience  
  
  
• Full time, permanent position 
  
  
• Located on the outskirts of Basingstoke
  
  
• 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
  
  
• Company-wide bonus scheme
