Test Assurance Manager

Test Assurance Manager\n\nRate: £700-£800 per day (Inside IR35)\nLocation: London (1 day per week onsite)\nDuration: Initial 6 months\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Test Assurance Manager to join a major transformation programme within a globally recognised organisation. This role will play a key part in establishing and governing the programme's testing approach, ensuring all testing activities are delivered to the highest standards and provide the confidence required for successful programme delivery.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a senior testing professional who enjoys operating at a strategic level, defining frameworks, challenging assumptions, identifying risks and providing assurance across complex programmes.\n\n Key Responsibilities\n\nDefine and maintain the programme Test Strategy and Test Assurance Framework.\nEstablish testing standards, governance processes, quality gates and assurance principles.\nReview test coverage, completeness, traceability and overall quality across multiple workstreams.\nProvide independent oversight of testing activities delivered by Test Managers and delivery teams.\nAssess testing risks, challenge gaps in coverage and support risk acceptance decisions.\nEnsure appropriate defect management processes are in place and effectively monitored.\nDefine and govern test documentation standards and reporting requirements.\nWork closely with Test Managers, Stream Leads and Programme Management to provide assurance and confidence throughout the testing lifecycle.\nSupport programme leadership with testing readiness assessments and go-live recommendations.ECS Recruitment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
