Strategic Asset Management Advisor (Water Sector - North West)

Job Description

My award-winning Professional Services client, who operate in the Built environment, are seeking to hire a client-facing Strategic Asset Management Advisor into their management consulting arm in Scotland and the North of England.

You would join their Leeds or Manchester regional team within their Asset Management Advisory Services division, delivering strategic asset management consulting engagements to major infrastructure clients primarily in the Water sector, but also Energy, Transport and Highways sectors.

This a small, talented and entrepreneurial team with big ambitions for 2026 where you "won't be just another cog in the wheel" and where you'll be challenged with real responsibility. You will lead on consulting engagements and have the opportunity to progress quickly as your contributions will be highly visible.

The successful applicant will currently have:

  • Chartership or on your way to being chartered soon.
  • Water sector experience (essential).
  • Asset Management consulting experience.
  • Experience of ISO 55000 maturity assessments and associated improvement work.
  • Experience of AMP (Asset Management Plan) / SAMP (Strategic Asset Management Plan) development.
  • Experience of investment planning.
