SEMH Teacher\nLocation: Derby City\n\nContract: JUNE 2026 - On going supply\nHours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)\nSetting: SEMH Secondary School KS3 (Also suitable for a Primary Trained teacher)\n\nAbout the Role\nAn inclusive SEMH secondary school in Derby City is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher from June 2026. You will support pupils with SEMH needs, helping them regulate behaviour, build confidence and re-engage with learning.\n\nThe school provides a structured, nurturing environment with small classes, strong pastoral support and an experienced team. \n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupport pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs across KS3 and 4\n\nDeliver behaviour management and de-escalation strategies\n\nProvide 1:1 and small-group learning and emotional support\n\nImplement behaviour plans and risk assessments\n\nPromote positive behaviour, wellbeing and engagement\n\nUphold safeguarding and welfare procedures\n\nThe Ideal Candidate\nCalm, resilient and nurturing, with experience supporting SEMH or SEN pupils.
