Resident Liaison Officer\n\nLocation: Halifax, West Yorkshire\nType: Permanent\nSalary: £30,000 - £32,000 + Car/Car allowance & Benefits\n\nWe are currently recruiting for a Resident Liaison Officer to join a well-established contractor delivering refurbishment works within occupied properties.\n\nThis is a key role focused on ensuring residents are kept fully informed before, during and after works are carried out, whilst delivering a high standard of customer care throughout the programme.\n\nThe Role\n\nReporting to the Senior Resident Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for managing communication with tenants and residents, helping to ensure works are delivered smoothly and with minimal disruption.\n\nYou will act as a key point of contact between residents, clients and operational teams, supporting positive outcomes and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProvide clear, professional and timely communication to residents throughout the works programme\nBuild positive relationships with tenants and residents, ensuring they feel informed and supported at all stages\nArrange and manage resident appointments in line with works schedules\nExplain the nature of the works, associated timescales and any changes or delays as they arise\nCarry out resident inductions and complete resident profiles\nIdentify and respond to individual resident needs, including vulnerable tenants, working households and those with health-related requirements\nSupport the management of complaints and help resolve issues quickly and effectively\nWork closely with site teams, management and client representatives to ensure excellent service delivery\nAttend meetings, open forums, public events and community engagement activities where required\n\nAbout You\n\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:\n\nPrevious experience in a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer, Customer Care or similar customer-facing role\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nThe ability to build trust and rapport with residents from a range of backgrounds\nExperience handling complaints and resolving issues in a professional manner\nGood organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload\nA proactive and approachable attitude\nStrong administration and IT skills\n\nIdeal Background\n\nThis opportunity would suit someone with experience working within:\n\nSocial housing\nPlanned maintenance\nRefurbishment works\nDecarbonisation programmes\nProperty services\nConstruction or repairs environmentsIf you are an experienced Resident Liaison Officer looking for your next opportunity, please apply today or call Jess on (phone number removed).\n\nKey words: RLO, CLO, TLO, Resident Liaison Office, Tennant Liaison Office, Customer Liaison officer, Property Service, Refurbishment
