Project Manager – Groundworks\nLocation: Yorkshire\nJob Type: Freelance – Long Term\nRate: Competitive DOE\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to oversee a large commercial groundwork package based in Yorkshire.\n\nThis is a long-term freelance opportunity with a well-established groundwork and civil engineering contractor, offering consistent work on a major commercial development.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Managing day-to-day operations on a large commercial groundwork project\n\n * \n\n Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, plant, and materials\n\n * \n\n Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and within budget\n\n * \n\n Leading site meetings and liaising with clients and senior management\n\n * \n\n Managing health & safety and site compliance\n\n * \n\n Monitoring progress and reporting on project performance\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Proven background in commercial groundworks and civils\n\n * \n\n Previous experience managing large groundwork packages\n\n * \n\n Strong leadership and organisational skills\n\n * \n\n SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid preferred\n\n * \n\n Ability to drive programme and maintain high standards on site\n\nWhat’s On Offer:\n\n * \n\n Immediate start\n\n * \n\n Long-term freelance work\n\n * \n\n Competitive rates\n\n * \n\n Major commercial project with ongoing pipeline of work\n\nPlease apply with your CV or contact us directly for further information
