Multi-Trade Operative – HMP Manchester\n\nManchester | Full-Time | Agency Contract | Competitive Hourly Rate\n\nOur client is seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join the maintenance team at HMP Manchester. The successful candidate will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the prison estate, helping to maintain a safe and secure environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Carry out decorating, joinery, and general building repairs\n\n * Complete planned and reactive maintenance works\n\n * Undertake fabric repairs and refurbishment tasks\n\n * Accurately assess and scope maintenance requirements\n\n * Ensure work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales\n\n * Maintain tools, equipment, and materials\n\n * Comply with all health and safety procedures\n\n * Work collaboratively with prison staff and maintenance teams\n\n * Participate in callout rotas where required\n\nRequirements\n\n * Previous experience in a multi-trade maintenance role\n\n * Experience in joinery, decorating, and general repairs\n\n * Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively\n\n * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n\n * Good communication and interpersonal skills\n\n * Full UK Driving Licence\n\n * Relevant trade qualifications (desirable)\n\nPersonal Attributes\n\n * Reliable and punctual\n\n * Self-motivated and proactive\n\n * Professional and customer-focused\n\n * Enthusiastic with a strong work ethic\n\nAdditional Information\n\n * Security clearance and vetting required\n\n * Weekly pay\n\n * Long-term opportunity\n\n * Full site induction and training provided\n\nApply today to be considered for this opportunity
