Pay: £15.95 per hour (PAYE)\n\nJob description:\n\nJoiner/Carpenter (Manchester M60)\nRate: £15.95ph (PAYE)\nLocation: HMP Manchester (Vetting checks will have to be completed)\nHours: Monday to Friday\nStart: As soon as possible\n\nMain Purpose: To carry out joinery work within but not exclusively in the joinery workshop.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * To carry out joinery work, examples of work include making stairs, doors, windows, signposts, formwork and other bespoke timber items.\n\n * Measure and quote for works\n\n * Order materials\n\n * Maintain stock of Building Maintenance material\n\n * Fit out company vehicles for other departments\n\n * To organise and plan your daily work with the supervisor, to record and submit all details of work carried out on relevant work orders\n\n * To drive a vehicle if necessary in connection with work.
