Head of Finance & Analysis\n\nLocation: Hybrid (3 days per week in the Manchester office)\n Salary: 90k - 108k per annum plus £5,000 Car Allowance\n Hours: 36 hours per week\n Contract Type: Permanent\n\nYou will provide strategic financial leadership on complex development and investment transactions, including organic growth opportunities, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, regeneration schemes and large-scale investment projects. The role will support projects ensuring robust financial analysis, risk assessment and investment decision-making.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead the financial appraisal and evaluation of major development and investment opportunities\nProvide end-to-end transaction support from initial assessment through to approval and delivery\nSupport the Development Finance Director in developing and implementing investment and development finance strategies\nDeputise for the Development Finance Director when required\nDevelop, review and challenge complex financial models \nProvide strategic recommendations to support investment decisions and maximise portfolio performance\nAnalyse market conditions, development opportunities and emerging investment trends\nPresent financial analysis and recommendations to Group and subsidiary Boards, Executive teams and Investment Committees\nBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Development, Treasury, Tax, Legal and Finance functionsCandidate requirements:\n\nCCAB qualified accountant (or equivalent professional qualification)\nSignificant experience in development finance, investment appraisal or property-based finance\nStrong understanding of the housing and property development sector\nExcellent financial modelling and analytical skills\nStrong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability\nDemonstrable experience developing and reviewing complex financial models for multi-tenure schemes\nExperience working with strategic partnerships, joint ventures and large-scale investment opportunities\nExcellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills\nAbility to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities \n\nHuntress does not discriminate on the grounds of age, race, gender, disability, creed or sexual orientation and complies with all relevant UK legislation.
