  • Leverage JLL's client relationships and market presence to generate new business opportunities

  • Position Tétris as the design and build provider of choice for JLL colleagues across Leasing Advisory, Account Management, and Project Management teams
  • \n
  • Develop strategic partnerships with JLL service lines to create integrated client solutions that combine real estate expertise with design and build excellence
  • \n
  • Identify and pursue opportunities in commercial office and retail fit‑out projects in central London and regional markets
  • \n
  • Develop client relationships and introduce the Tetris services to prospective new clients
  • \n
  • Own the lead generation and sales sourcing process of individual projects – ensuring the qualification of each opportunity is in line with Tetris requirements
  • \n
  • Oversee relevant project teams from an account management perspective and act as a client’s primary point of contact through the lifespan of a won and/or prospective project
  • \n
  • Define and manage the ‘strategy to win’ for each new opportunity
  • \n
  • Maintain oversight of won projects from a client relationship position, working collaboratively with Tetris commercial and delivery leads to ensure that the team delivers in line with client and contract expectations
  • \n
  • Maintain oversight of all relevant sales opportunities on Salesforce in a live, organised, and proactive manner to meet annual sales targets (gross and net)
  • \n
  • Operate at all times in line with the Tetris/JLL corporate code of conduct
  • \n
  • Collaborate closely with the EMEA Business Development team to share market and leads insights
  • \n
Responsibilities\n

The key responsibility of the Business Development Director is to meet and ideally exceed assigned annual sales targets (gross revenue and net margin) and contribute to the growth of a steady and sustainable pipeline for the Tetris UK business. This includes supporting the influx of opportunities from relevant leads while maintaining appropriate risk management practices and a highly competitive “winning” attitude.

  • Proven ability to present successfully to executive/board level individuals
  • \n
  • Knowledge and understanding of design & build, detail & build, and design‑only processes
  • \n
  • Knowledge and understanding of London and South East office markets; nationwide UK experience is a plus
  • \n
  • Knowledge and understanding of the cradle‑to‑grave UK property process
  • \n
  • Significant relevant experience in the UK construction/fit‑out market (London/South East preferred)
  • \n
  • Proven track‑record of successfully developing new business and closing design & build sales deals
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • \n
  • Ability to develop strong, long‑term relationships and operate effectively in a matrix organisation to support clients and win repeat business
  • \n
  • A strong existing London & South East property and fit‑out network
  • \n
Preferred Skills and Attributes\n
    \n
  • Professional qualification in commercial real estate will be beneficial
  • \n
  • Knowledge of operating within corporate organisations is an advantage
  • \n
  • Extensive experience across a wider property transaction process is a plus
  • \n
  • A commitment to collaboration, teamwork and maintaining an ethical approach to business
  • \n
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work with limited information
  • \n
  • A flexible and proactive attitude, high energy, assertiveness and creativity
