This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a structured, supportive environment on high-quality housing developments.\n\nThe Role\n\nWorking as part of an experienced commercial team, you will support the financial management of multiple residential developments. This role offers exposure to the full project lifecycle, making it ideal for someone looking to build strong foundations in quantity surveying within the housebuilding sector.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Assist with the preparation of cost plans, budgets, and financial reports\n\n * Support the management of subcontractor packages, including procurement and payments\n\n * Help prepare and process valuations and cost forecasts\n\n * Monitor project costs and highlight any variations or risks\n\n * Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and analysis\n\n * Liaise with site teams to track progress and ensure cost control\n\n * Support the commercial team with reporting and administrative duties\n\n * Contribute to final account preparation and project close-out\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n * Previous experience in a commercial or Assistant Quantity Surveyor role (placement or post-graduate experience considered)\n\n * Background or interest in residential construction / housebuilding\n\n * Relevant qualification (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or Construction\n\n * Strong numerical and analytical skills\n\n * Good communication and organisational ability\n\n * Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * Competitive salary and benefits package\n\n * Structured training and development, including support towards professional qualifications\n\n * Opportunity to work on high-quality residential developments\n\n * Clear career progression within a well-established business\n\n * Supportive and collaborative team environment
